Crystal View Plasmas use a Technology called Advanced Continuous Emission Display to achieve excellent grayscale rendering in dark areas, where conventional plasmas perform poorly. 10-bit sampling per color pixel, rather than the usually 8-bits, increases gray shades and produces smooth transitions from black to gray, with grayscale rendering about 16 times better than other plasma displays.
One of the main technologies behind our panel's amazing performance is their unique Deep Encased Cell Structure. Compared to the low rows of cells used in other plasma displays, the Deep Encased Cells increase phosphor area by over 40 percent and prevent light leakage from neighboring cells. Luminous efficiency is much higher, so the screen is much brighter and clearly visible under all conditions
Our displays use a Pure Color Filter that greatly decreases external light reflectivity (as much as 30% depending on conditions). The result is significantly higher contrast, providing an extremely clear display in bright environments. At the same time, it optimizes the components of the red, green and blue light by filtering out undesirable colors to display greatly improved image reproduction.
The standard Crystal View Plasma Display frame is also a work of art. A beautifully finished, one- piece frame, it looks splendid on the wall whether the Plasma Display is on or off. The standard clear-coated black gloss finish makes the picture look even brighter and sharper, but, like all Crystal View products, it is available in your choice of any matched color or several wood-grain finishes at no
extra cost.
However, it is the optional SOUND-ART loudspeaker frame that delivers it all - an enhanced video image and room filling, audiophile quality sound. With SOUND-ART, you need no longer suffer the visual distraction of floor-standing, wall-mounted, or in-wall loudspeakers to get high quality sound with your Plasma Display.
