My Experience: Just purchased the LG about 4 weeks ago and have been very impressed. Used standard definition for the first 3 weeks and the picture looked great. Had Directv upgrade me to HD last week and was floored how great this picture really is. My first sporting event was the Sugerbowl. Fox HD is incredible on this set. My 8 year son loves the ease of use hooking up his play station. Also like the channel labeling you can do. I compared TV's for about two months and this set is the best for the price. Paid $999 at Best Buy.
