My Experience: i purchased this tv new from circuit city for Superbowl 2005 and i absolutely fell in love with it from the first day. It was my first flat screen HD Tv and exceeded all of my expectations. I used the TV on a daily basis for almost 5 years before it went out. Luckily i purchased (and renewed) the extended warranty and my replacement TV will arrive within the next few days. I highly recommend LG TVs and cell phones.

Problems: 4 years and 10 months into my TV usage, it started taking about 20 seconds before the tv would come on. Over the next week 20 secs became 5 mins so i called warranty company and repair shop promptly retrieved it and started working on it. First the board needed replace, then the invertors went bad (which was what had caused the board to go bad in the beginning). Invertors are no longer manufactured so had to be sent to rebuilt and came back but the new board had gone bad because of the bad invertors. End result - not fixable and they are giving me another LG as a replacement!
