My Experience: First dlp used 4 bulbs no remote and off center a tiny bit

1st off this dvi handles hdcp and that is amazing that this set had this back in 2005 hdcp is copyright protection handshake signal so it will actully work with a dvi to hdmi and perfectly with a kworld tuner dvi model for HDTV for 1080i tv over the air with qam for cox cable decoding

Problems: The dullness took a week for me to figure out take front grill off the center box unclip wire remove 10screws or so around back of edges around screen it lifts right the he'll off and inside is a huge mirror and down is a mini mirror clean em and wow the picture is back to life hit menu 5770 remote shows lamp life on screen front bezel removed box has two vert adjustment L keyheads and use the remote to get into advanced menu I forgot code it's in the service Manuel google it after all that omg this tv looks better then my LCD 37in veiwsonic and it's perfect color and dark black enhacncment features on this tv is def worth the 3.6 grand some sap paid for it before I got it sound everything out of this world before I cleaned it it's picture was dull and horrid and actully refracted a white square of the lens outline on the screen at certain angles now that's all gone and I can't beleive I got this tv for 250$ off craigslist and got a replacment remote same day same way for 25$ and this tv is hella kick ass now on all angels and nice whites blacks reds blues and no glare and veiwable in the lighted settings plus hdcp over hdmi on dvi and the pip feature splits out into a grid of 8 or 16 windows it's like a sports bars tv I love it mitshubishi all the way in my eyes now ps my submenu shows oem lamp lasted 5280hrs and 2nd one was 6800 and current lamp 2667 and the tv is just great low noise fan in back and kick ass simulated sound modes with built in subwoofer it's a older contendor that stacks up very very well for it's age and feature set and over all reliability and longevity
