My Experience: Great picture, comparable to LED but warmer. Sturdy construction. Great value for the money. Purchased new in 2010 and bulb has never needed replacement – this may be because we never used the instant-on feature.
Problems: It's not a flat-screen, not an LED, so it will get warm - but we never had a problem with overheating.
