My Experience: I have researched Plasma, LCD, LED, Costco, Best Buy, Fry's, Wal-Mart, Target, and Sears. Model TC50PX24 is the next generation from the X14 and if you are on a budget, this 50" 720p is a great deal through Costco at $699.99 (after instant rebate at the register). Of course 1080P is always the best to go (2 million pixels vs. 1 million pixels), but at 600Hz regresh it is great for sports and fast moving action scenes. Video quality on Wii is not an issue and playing movies on a standard 480 DVD player provided clear images. I also leaned that most stations do not broadcast at 1080p, so for now 720P will suffice. I do recommend setting the picture at "Cinema" as Standar is a bit too dark.

Again, if you are on a budget and you want "big", the TC50PX24 720p is a great bargain. The only issue I have is the poor quality of SD stations, but it is a HD set.

Problems: None that I can see (no pun intended).
