My Experience: I have had this unit for a year and a half. It is my first HD television. It really made me appreciate the benefits of HD. I wish there were more HD programming avaialable, since this television really does it well. I have had no buyers remorse like I thought I might. I believe I paid around $4400. Unfortunately I believe you can now get the 50' version for $4k.

Problems: I wish that you could change the aspect ratio when viewing 4:3 HD signals. Also, when I connected it to my Comcast box with a DVI-HDMI cable I seem to get abnormally long switchover from stan def to high def, and some random tiling. Other than that it has been a joy to own.
