My Experience: Bought this Jan 07 because it was a 1080p 42 inch at very good price. I'm a senior lady who had difficulty setting it up buy had no experience with this and eventually was able to connected dvd player and it all works beautifully. I bought a more expensive Samsung a year later for another room but I think the picture and sound are just as good on the Polaroid. I developed 1 dead pixel after a year but otherwise set has always worked great.
