The SP-60 is one of the larger widescreen plasma monitors available on the market today — large enough to be used as the centerpiece of any home theater, and slim enough to be used in any type of room environment. Its size is only one of its advantages. It also has HDTV resolution of 1365 x 768, is bright enough to be used in any lighting situation, and can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or tabletop.
The SP-60 features Runco’s renowned all digital video processing, featuring advanced Vivix™ technology. This advanced processing produces stunning video imagery, even elevating standard NTSC material to near high definition levels.
Multiple aspect ratio control includes Runco's VirtualWide for viewing 4:3 material in widescreen with no loss of picture quality. ISF calibration controls are integrated to allow this advanced calibration facility to create a perfectly-calibrated image regardless of source or aspect ratio.
The SP-60 has been skillfully engineered for the finest video performance in a wide variety of room environments. The advanced design features both RS-232C and IR control interfaces to accommodate custom installation and every day operation with ease.
For our customers in high altitude regions we also offer the SP-60 in an “xa” version (eg. SP-60xa) with industry leading high altitude capability to over 9000 ft. MSL. They are identical in all other respects, sharing features and specifications with the standard altitude models
