My Experience: After much research I decided that the Samsung brand was the way to go in LCD HDTV. Both Best Buy and Circuit City were recomending them, and Consumer Reports had highly rated several Samsung models. I kept looking for a better price, as all of these models were in the $1300-$1600 range, slightly lower online but I wanted to buy from local brick and morter. I stumbled across this model at Walmart for $1194, while my wife was looking for a Halloween costume for our daughter. We then checked at Sams Club next door who had it for $1049. This model had all the features I wanted, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 8ms refresh rate, 500 brightness, along with two HDMI inputs. The HDMI is important because that is the newest and best digital input available. Soon all DVD player will have it as an ouyput, and if you don't have two inputs, you'll have to choose between sacrificing TV or DVD input. The RGB composit are still great, but HDMI is better. I didn't want to get technologicaly behind right away. This combination isn't available in any other TV for under $1500 that I could find. The picture in the stores was awesome, and I'm equally pleased at home. Set up was easy, and using the composit inputs on a DVD gave me an awesome image. The TV picture is good using the S Video that my current cable box offers, but the HD Box with HDMI is coming today and based on what I've seen, OH BOY!!! Time will tell on reliability, but I bought an extended warranty (something I never do) however I believe that the Samsung LCD technology is top notch and time tested. A few days in and I can't be happier, now for HDMI input and a weekend of football:)

Problems: None so far, only initial limitations are those of the cable box.
