High Definition Plasma Display Panel
Tomorrow's technology today reduces reflections from room lights and windows for outstanding quality images. The ''True Flat Screen Picture'' creates a clean, natural, distortion free picture from corner to corner. 1080i native resolution is 1,024 horizontal x 1024 vertical with over 1 million pixels in 16 million colors, a 160 degree wide viewing angle and overall picture brightness enhanced to 1000 cd/ m²!
Aspect Ratio
Screen width to height proportions can be adjusted. The 16:9 ratio Widescreen gives the viewer a full picture of movies and broadcasts, rather than a normally cropped picture in the 4:3 ratio. Image format selections include: Normal, Full, Natural Wide and Zoom.
Plasma Dynamic AI (Automatic Image) Control
Newly developed control performs real-time corrections of light and dark color gradations. Checks incoming signals to reduce flat dark areas, improve low contrast and increase definition.
Motion Adaptive Digital Progression Conversion
Interpolation process eliminates the annoying flicker and blurring from action shots. Special circuits guarantee high definition images for more beauty and clarity.
Screen Saver Function
Protects the display from image burn-in extending the service life of the display panel.
Pre-set Picture/Sound Selections
In video/component mode choose from: Natural, Dynamic, Cinema and "Memory" using the PICTURE selection button on the remote control.
In PC/RGB and DVI-D modes choose from: Graphic, Standard, Text and "Memory". Your controls are automatically adjusted for the best viewing and listening. Manual adjustments in "Memory" are always possible.
MTS 3D Surround Stereo Sound
This improved audio system with two wide range double magnet speakers reproduces a true (right/left) high-fidelity sound with reduced noise interference. 3D Surround adds another dimension to the movie theater-like acoustic experience. BBE* Mach 3 Bass System offers rich bass frequencies from the built in 10 W per channel amplifier. Bass, Treble and Balance controls are adjustable in the menu.
