My Experience: I have always been a fan of the AQUOS line and always vowed to have one. The displays have good black levels, almost no red push, and handle standard broadcasts well for an LCD.
I was disappointed when I went to purchase one and the unit has 8 stuck pixels out of the box. I returned this for another and the replacement had 5 stuck pixels. When I went to return the unit the manager pleaded that I give it another try. The third unit had only one stuck pixel, which falls within Sharp's tolerances. However, by this time I was so annoyed that I decided to search for another brand. I would advise people to closely inspect these displays while still within the return period. Problems: Stuck pixels. |
