My Experience: I have had this HD tv since July of 2008 and I have to say that so far it was money well spent. The picture qualtiy is excellent when veiwing HD content and standard content. This is an excellent set for veiwing Blu Ray movies as well. I would have to say there is only 2 drawbacks to this tv and the first one is sound. The built in speakers with the tv leave much to be desired but most HD tv speakers leave much to be desired as well thats why I advise you get a surround sound system. Second its only 60hz which is not that big of a deal but to a trained eye you can see the difference between a 60hz tv and a 120hz tv. These 2 drawbacks though arent much of a big deal though because this tv delievers in so many ways and is one good buy and delivers hours of enjoyment. I know I am glad I bought it and would reccomend it to anyone looking for an excellent HD tv.
