My Experience: After looking at many plasma and LCD offerings, this Grand Wega provided the absolute best picture with the least amount of motion, spacial or temporal artifacting of any 'big screen' under $2500. The only thing that beat it was the Sony WEGA LCOS projection offering at 1080p -- no Plasma or LCD under $6000 came this close. And I've trained my eyes to look for processing issues for the past decade...

Problems: I do not know the reliability of this unit, but my experience with Sony consumer electronics recently (since the late 1990s) has been that they're average to slightly better than average. What more could you want? Get yourself a 3-year or better warranty - especially one that covers the $250 lamp - and you WILL be very happy with this box.
