My Experience: This unit is fantastic. I've had it for 10 months and love it. The price has come down considerably since I bought, but it was worth it to have been enjoying it. Even my wife who was very wary of this large of TV in our smaller house is completely sold. The sony stand is expensive, but really is superior in the way it is designed to hide part of the TV base. There are no many other good 1080p units on the market, but we are very happy with our Sony.

Problems: We had to have the light engine replaced at around 3200 hours--which the dealer handled very well and under warranty.
