My Experience: Purchased our Z50PX2D 50" plasma from a major electronics chain as a "scratch and dent" model, and it did have a dime size "dent" on the top of the left speaker box. This visible damage told me I might be able to negotiate for an even lower price, then I could afford to purchase the store warranty(to fix or replace). $1600 out the door w/Monster Powercenter. Good Deal..I hope so... Still to come:
Home Theater installation. That should be fun.
