I'll tell you what I used, but please realize that your settings, depending on your viewing environment and your preferences, probably will vary.
For example, VIZIO offers nine video modes, all different and all with a certain validity. You may want to cycle through them and see if you find one that comes closest to what you like.
I tend to choose Custom and then go into the Advanced settings and turn everything Off like Adaptive Luma and Enhanced Contrast.
I then turn down the Backlight to at least 50 and set Color Temperature to Normal. I prefer cooler whites but not as blue as Cool nor as yellowish as Warm. You decide what appeals to you.
After that Brightness was fine at its default of 50, Contrast was 49, Color was 47. I tend to desaturate the picture, you might like it higher. Tint was twisted towards green 2 notches. And I'm not a fan of fringing, so I kept Sharpness at 2.
Once you feel comfortable with those basic settings, you can experiment with Advanced options like Color Enhancement. I would suggest testing them one at a time.
As for Smooth Motion, I said all I could in the review above.
Let me know if this helps.
