Dick: Thank you for this information filled review. You do a much better job explaining the effects of the various adjustments than does the manual. I have had my 42" set for several weeks. I am enjoying the BBC nature series "Planet Earth" on Blu Ray. If ever a disc (4 discs actually) was meant for Smooth Motion, this is the one. As seen on this fine TV, the stunning visuals make it seem you could jump into the picture; it is the 3D effect you mention. On your advice I will order the surround sound speakers from Vizio. This will enhance the already pretty good sound the stock unit produces. P.S. If I had the chance to purchase this set again, I would buy the 47" version for an even bigger experience.
