I have a 1080p 46" Sony and a DVD player that supposedly enhances standard DVD's to 1080p. It seems that it does an excellent job. If in fact my current setup allows me to see standard DVD's at t080p, then what benefit could I see by changing to a Blue Ray player?

I would appreciate your views.
