Have recently bought a Samsung LN46A850 as a main TV. It's great , has a lot of the features I wanted, is lightweight and I got it on a very good price deal.

Am looking at buying this Vizio SV420XVT for the Master Bedroom and possibly adding the WSS-1A system for ease of use and a moderate surround sound system.

Have read a lot of threads which are back and forth regarding Vizio's quality, etc., but most comments have no substantive information and just seem to be the rants of angry individuals who can't handle an occasional bad system.

Your detailed review and the fact that you were able to actually speak with a Vizio engineer shows me the product is probably good for the price and problems can be handled if one works with the company and gives them a chance.
