Dick: Thanks for the review it was very helpful. Got a great deal on this unit through a friend that had a deal fall through and he liquidated these babies! ($590.00 CDN - WOW - that's a deal- only 6 and they are all gone!)
I agree the red needs adjustment in the service menu. Can you advise the procedure? I am comfortable connecting my laptop to the TV but need to know where to go from there? Can you give me a step by step to lower the red bias and gain in the service menu. What were the exact settings you used for the red bias and red gain?? If I can do this I think this TV will be very adequate. I bought a Samsung 52" Full HD unit several months ago. Consumer reports gave it a top rating but I paid $2200.00 CDN for that pleasure. For the money this will work quite well if I can fix the red somewhat. What would you recommend as the best viewing distance for this unit??
Thanks
John
