I'm so glad a friend found this report. I've been looking at the Sony 40W5100 for weeks, but because I couldn't find a review I was hesitating about buying it. Thank you for being so thorough. I'm a little confused though about the reference to the internet when talking about the TV Guide at other sites. Do you have to hook your TV up to a computer in order to use the TV Guide? It's one of the reasons I'm so interested in this TV. Also, I may have missed it, but is there a way to turn the 120Hz off? Some people have complained with other TVs about it bothering non-sports programs.
