Literally, the week after the warranty expired, we began having similar problems with the TV. Either the center or right half of the screen will be dark, cloudy or a reverse negative effect. Have tried every adjustment, different connections, I normally use HDMI, but no luck. I have called Sony support, but they were basically USELESS. I currently have 6 other Sony LCD TV's of varying sizes and ages and none of them have ever had any problems.
