Either the bulb I was sold is a cheap knockoff, or I just had bad luck. Bulb only worked for about 8 hours then filament failed and detached from stem. Bulb looked new, but could be a cheap knockoff!!?? The bulb that came with my projector lasted over 2000 hours. Pureland asked me to mail their bulb back to them at my cost, after which they did refund my credit card for the cost of the bulb only; I had to pay for all shipping costs. It was not my fault that the bulb failed in 8 hours, so Pureland should have refunded their shipping charges to me as well. Also, I would have had them send me a replacement if they would have given me some proof that the bulb was an actual OSRAM and not a cheap knockoff. When I asked, Pureland replied: "This is a factory original bulb". Yes, but from what factory!!?? I am sure it came from someone's factory. Not a satisfactory answer that instilled confidence. I ended up spending $120 more and getting the bulb (which now included the housing) directly from Optoma.
Details: On August 27, 2009 I bought from Pureland Supply (invoice 76134) what was to be an OSRAM bl-fu250f bulb for my Optoma H76. The bulb I received look new and I had no trouble replacing my old bulb with it. |

Osram Brand bulb was shipped to customer. Bulb has Osram printed on the back of the bulb! This was not a knock-off. Bulb failed which could be caused by projector, customer installation, or faulty bulb. A Full refund was issued in accordance with our refund policy.

I found my replacement lamp for my Optoma HD 72 home theater projector at Pureland Supply and saved myself about $200 from what I was finding elsewhere.
I was initially nervous that they might skimp on service, but my fears were relieved when they quickly sent out a UPS shipment notification by email and I was able to track their prompt shipment till it arrived on my doorstep within a week. |

| I purchased a replacement lamp for the SONY VPL-AW15 projector. I was the best price and everything went perfect from the quicker than promised delivery time to the identical fit (like a glove). Outside of the product itself which requires time to prove itself, the seller did everything possible to make it a pleasurable 'do-it-myself' repair of my projector. |
