Proview CE Division Introduces Expanded Lineup of High-Performance, Affordable Proview and MAG Innovision LCD and Plasma Displays
MAHWAH, New Jersey --At the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Proview CE
Division displayed an expanded range of Proview and MAG Innovision products for
distribution in the U.S. market. The company introduced an extensive new line of
affordable LCD and plasma flat-panel display solutions in screen sizes ranging
from 14- to 50-inches, as well as a line of low-cost, high-performance Proview
CRT TV sets. In each product category, Proview CE Division remains committed to
offering consumers more choice in regard to pricing, design and features.
Designed to Match any Décor or Budget
The wide variety of Proview and MAG Innovision display products sets new
price/performance benchmarks for the LCD and plasma categories and bring
high-quality flat-screen enjoyment within reach of more consumers than ever
before. The entire line features distinctive cosmetic designs that match their
advanced functionality and features.
LCD Displays from 14 to 32 Inches…
Proview and MAG Innovision LCD displays are available in screen sizes ranging
from 14- to 32-inches ($449.99-$1,999.99). Of special note, Proview CE Division
displayed the uniquely designed MAG Innovision HD-202AT 20-inch LCD TV. Perfect
for placement in a bedroom, bathroom or office, it features a unique rounded
foundation and built-in speakers for the ultimate in space saving design.
Of the nine new Proview LCD models on display at CES, five will feature
widescreen HDTV capability offering maximum resolutions of 1280 x 720. All
Proview sets are designed for the ultimate in home entertainment flexibility and
performance, offering a full range of video and audio to connections to provide
optimum resolution from today's most advanced digital video sources.

42- to 50-Inch Plasma Displays…
The Proview plasma display lineup is led by two unique 46-inch models, the
EDTV MH-463SU and the HDTV MH-463HU. Both displays offer unique cosmetic
designs, features and price points, but perhaps their most standout feature is
their larger screen size. Typically, large-screen plasma displays are found in
either 42- or 50-inch screen sizes. The Proview 46-inch models give home theater
enthusiasts the option of choosing a larger screen, without being forced to step
up to a dramatically larger and much more expensive display.
Adding to their advanced image-reproduction capabilities, both new 46-inch
Proview sets include state-of-the-art Faroudja® video processing for the
clearest digital images. HDMI inputs and built-in digital tuners ensure that
both models comply with the latest standards in digital television. The MH-463SU
provides 852 x 480 EDTV resolution, while the MH-463HU offers 1024 x 768 HDTV
resolution. Proview will also offer a widescreen 50-inch Plasma display, the
GP-650D, scheduled to ship in February 2005. This HDTV monitor will feature an
astounding 1366 x 768 resolution and include speakers for added value.
Additionally all Proview Plasma displays will include the following features:
dual tuner POP, 3D comb filter and video noise reduction, as SRS® WOW/BBE™,
automatic volume correction, PC compatibility and HDTV input capability. The
