SAMSUNG PROVIDES FREE 4K IMAX CONTENT TO UHD TV CUSTOMERS

As the excitement surrounding Ultra High-Definition (UHD) technology continues to build, Samsung Electronics America today announced plans to offer complimentary 4K IMAX content to its UHD customers.

From November 3 through December 28, customers will receive two full-length IMAX movies in 4K and additional UHD content free with the purchase of any Samsung UHD TV. Existing Samsung UHD TV customers are also eligible to receive the 4K content.

Complimentary 4K content includes two acclaimed IMAX documentaries, "The Last Reef" and "The Grand Canyon Adventure," as well as several UHD vignettes that showcase the brilliant picture quality and true detail made possible by Samsung UHD screen technology.

Provided on a hard disk drive (HDD) that connects to the USB port on Samsung's One Connect Box, the content will be mailed to customers after they register their UHD TV purchase online.
