LG Presents Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga ‘Cheek To Cheek Live!’ Concert In 4K
LG Partners with Amazon to Stream World’s First Ultra HD Concert, Delivering Ultimate Clarity and Detail on 4K Ultra HD TVs
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Dec. 9, 2014 - Advancing its leadership status in 4K Ultra High Definition TV, LG Electronics USA today is presenting "Cheek to Cheek LIVE!," the new landmark concert performance by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, in 4K Ultra HD resolution - four times the resolution of Full HD.
Starting today, this once-in-a-lifetime musical experience will be streamed in Ultra HD by Amazon in partnership with LG Electronics, the Official Ultra HD Sponsor of "Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek LIVE!" The concert was captured this summer in stunning 4K at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theatre in front of a live audience of fans and invited guests.
This unique event, the world's first concert streamed in Ultra HD, cements LG's role as a driving force behind the exploding market for 4K Ultra HD TVs in the United States and around the globe. The LG-sponsored Amazon Ultra HD stream of "Cheek to Cheek LIVE!" is available free of charge to Amazon Instant Video customers with Connected 4K Ultra HD TVs. With the help of the LG Smart TV + webOS™ connected TV platform, optimized for Ultra HD streaming, users will enjoy 4K content along lightning-quick transitions between broadcast TV, streaming services and external devices, with speeds similar to regular channel switching.
