All-New VIZIO D-Series Collection Arrives to Mexico Featuring Excellent HD Picture Quality and Smart TV Features In Select Models

Latest Collection Offers Full-Array LED Backlighting with Up to 12 Active LED Zones® for Richer Black Levels and Added Contrast

Irvine, CA - May 10, 2016 - VIZIO, Inc. today announced the rollout of its all-new D-Series collection across Mexico. The new line-up provides consumers a range of screen size options, with access to Smart TV features in select models. The D-Series line-up offers Full-Array LED backlighting with up to 12 Active LED Zones, paired with excellent 1080p HD picture quality. The collection is rolling out now to Walmart MX Super Center and Bodega and coming soon to Amazon.com.mx and Walmart.com.mx.

The VIZIO D-Series collection provides brilliant picture quality thanks to Full-Array LED backlighting technology on most models, allowing for advanced control of LEDs for superior light uniformity and picture performance compared to edge-lit TVs. Up to 12 Active LED Zones dynamically adjust to match the light and dark portions of on-screen content, culminating in deeper black levels and added contrast. Clear Action™ 240 offers enhanced motion clarity with 120Hz effective refresh rate achieved through backlight scanning and powerful image processing. These technologies make sure sports and fast-action scenes are seen with stunningly sharp detail.

Select models between 32" to 50" class screen sizes in the D-Series collection are equipped with the VIZIO Internet Apps Plus® Smart TV platform, giving consumers the power to stream the hottest movies, TV shows, music and more right to their TV (1). VIZIO's intuitive Smart TV experience is also easy to setup using the TV's built-in WiFi,and provides access to popular apps such as Netflix YouTube and more (2). For consumers simply looking for great 1080p HD picture quality, the D-Series line-up also offers a non-connected 32" class size model.

Consumers will notice the new D-Series collection rolling out now to Walmart MX Super Center and Bodega and coming soon to Amazon.com.mx and Walmart.com.mx.
