My Experience: I bought this T.V. from Best Buy in Ohio for $1,198. I wanted to have a flat screen and saw this model for a resonable price and couldn't pass it up. The set up was very easy and it looks beautiful. The menus are easy to scroll through and the remote has more then enough options for the advanced user to play with. The picture quality is fantastic and I was quite suprised by this model compared to the other next to it that cost twice as much!! If you have the money, this is the right T.V. for you.
Problems: I bought RCA composite cables from Wal-Mart for $26.00 after reading the difference's I would notice and after hooking them up to my DVD surround sound system...I think the quality got worse. I bought "Days of Thunder" to mostly hear the surround sound difference and I noticed the picture quality had lines running down the screen and it wasn't as sharp as it was before just using the supplied Video RCA hookup. Other then that..the T.V. is great! To use the HDMI cable you have to have another HDMI device or pay for HDTV which is almost $50/month, not to mention my internet, which brings my bill to $120/month for HDTV and cable internet. Say goodbye to lifes extras!
