My Experience: i purchased this tv from a sizzling electronic store in sacramento, california and have been delighted with the performance so far. i haven't gotten the hd upgrade on cable yet, but went down to the mega superstore, and for $9.00 i bought the cheapest rabbit ears they had, hooked them up to this tv...and was completely blown away by the clarity and brilliance of color of the local feeds that have begun to convert to hd broadcast. the dvd upconverter from samsung (1080i simulator) works amazingly well with all of my dvd's, even dvd's of older average quality flicks.

Problems: speaker system is average. home theater system is the next purchase
