My Experience: Bought the L42WD22 in December on "sale" at Wal-mart. 5 months later the tv suddenly goes to "unusable signal". No sound, no channels, wouldn't even let me run a dvd player. Called dish company, they came out and did all they could bit said it was the tv not the dish. So, I took it to a repair shop. The guy just got back to me and told me that the digtal board went out and it would be over $900- to get a new one. Called Walmart and they said I cannot exchange it since I had gotten it on sale! With so many problems with these TV's there should be a lawsuit against Thompson for their crap products!!
