MITSUBISHI ANNOUNCES 56" QFHD LCD MONITOR OFFERING FOUR-TIMES HIGHER DEFINITION

IRVINE, Calif., June 19, 2007 — Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division, known for award-winning, high-quality presentation and display products, today introduced one of the highest resolution monitors available. Mitsubishi's 56P-QF60LCU LCD monitor offers QFHD (quadruple full high definition) resolution, which provides an unsurpassed 3840 x 2160 pixels. With four-times greater resolution than a typical high-definition monitor, each monitor provides more than eight megapixels on the screen at any given time.

The 56P-QF60LCU monitor is specifically designed for small group collaboration; the enormous 3,840 x 2,160 pixels of resolution make it ideally suited for environments that may have limited real estate or in intimate settings where people must analyze large amounts of dense information such as satellite imagery, mapping information, financial dashboards and broadcast video.

Mitsubishi's 56P-QF60LCU is also perfect for environments where one person can observe a wide range of data on one screen. The new QFHD monitor can condense information from a wall of data cubes used in electric plants, government and armed forces facilities, police situation rooms, financial control rooms, and other environments, and send them to one source for quick and accurate viewing on a single LCD panel. Managers can streamline and supervise operations at one location on one screen for quick and efficient observation and monitoring.

"In the past, achieving the same amount of pixel real estate required up to eight small flat panels displays," said Matt Krstulja, national sales manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Presentation Products Division. "That took up a lot of space, and the bezel issue was always a problem. With Mitsubishi's new 56P-QF60LCU LCD monitor, users can display large amounts of information on one LCD screen, with one clear, smooth image."

The 56P-QF60LCU LCD monitor utilizes a Super MVA LCD with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and a 50,000 hour back light lifetime. Sending information to this display requires only a computer or display wall processor capable of four 1080p output channels. With a wide viewing angle of 88° +/- horizontally and vertically, the 56P-QF60LCU LCD monitor can be clearly seen from virtually any seating position.

Pricing, Availability, Warranty
The suggested retail price of Mitsubishi's new 56P-QF60LCU is $49,995, available this month through authorized Mitsubishi dealers and systems integrators. The monitor comes with Mitsubishi's two-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
