"Fraggle Rock" and Nine Shows from the Jim Henson Family TV Library Join Hulu Kids Today

Santa Monica, Calif. (August 22, 2013) - Today, Hulu launches Jim Henson Family TV on Hulu Kids, which features 10 series from the Jim Henson collection, including the beloved and timeless series "Fraggle Rock." With Jim Henson Family TV, families can relive the magic of the singing, adventurous and fun-loving Fraggles, as well as other favorite Henson characters, while teaching children valuable lessons about the world with music, comedy and lots of fun.

All episodes are now available commercial-free on Hulu Plus, which offers more Jim Henson Family titles than any other video subscription service in the U.S. Five rolling, consecutive episodes of each show will be available on the free, ad-supported Hulu.com. This library was made available to Hulu in conjunction with Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment. They are The Jim Henson Company's catalog distributor in North America.

"Fraggle Rock" Four seasons, 96 episodes

Aimed at children ages four through twelve, this live-action International Emmy award-winning series features The Fraggles, a fun-loving community of creatures who live in a subterranean fantasy land where they love to play, sing and dance their cares away. The series teaches empathy and tolerance and encourages children to understand people different from themselves.

"Fraggle Rock: Animated" One season, 13 episodes

Following the success of the original "Fraggle Rock" series, The Jim Henson Company's animated "Fraggle Rock" series (1987) is based on the universally relatable original storylines and beloved characters. The animated series features its own original music and embodies the same message of universal acceptance and peace that Fraggle Rock fans know and love.

"Jim Henson's Play-Along-Video" One episode

"Peek-A-Boo: A Big Surprise for Little People" is designed for children under 3 years old, offering bright images, puppets, music and surprising sounds to engage young viewers.

"Mopatop's Shop" One season, 32 episodes

Mopatop's Shop is a wondrous shop where you can get everything you could ever want - a rainbow, the hiccups, or a friend. The show, featuring Mopatop and his assistant Puppyduck, aims to introduce pre-school children to a variety of concepts such as shapes and musical sounds, using imagination, humor and fun.

"Jim Henson's Animal Show With Stinky And Jake" One season, 26 episodes

Animal Show brings out the wild side of wildlife - as only The Jim Henson Company can! Your hosts Stinky the Skunk and Jake the Polar Bear welcome guests of the animal kingdom to the furriest talk show to ever hit the airwaves.

"The Hoobs" One season, 40 episodes

The Hoobs

Join Iver, Tula, Groove and Roma on a friendly, fun-filled, journey as they investigate different worlds and search for answers to everything Hoobs could ever want to know about the universe. "The Hoobs" embraces the power of the question and uses a delightful mix of puppetry, animation and live-action to help young audiences learn about the world we live in.

"Mother Goose Stories" One season, 13 episodes

Each eight-minute episode of this delightful series, directed by Brian Henson, features Mother Goose, who shares nursery rhymes with her three impatient, fluffy goslings. The shows combine the live-action talents of young children with Jim Henson's extraordinary puppets.

"Secret Life of Toys" One season, 13 episodes

This series follows the adventures of a close-knit band of six toys: Balthazar, the battered old teddy bear; Rugby, the mischievous tiger; Ditz, the puzzled clown; Mew, the little blue cat toy; Hortense, the rocking horse; and Raisin, the tom-boy rag doll.

"Wubbulous World Of Dr. Seuss" Two seasons, 40 episodes

This Daytime Emmy®-nominated preschool series features the fun, music and adventures of some of the favorite characters created by celebrated children's author Theodore Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss). Starring The Cat In the Hat, The Grinch, his dog Max, Terrence, Horton, Yertle and all the residents of Seussville, these whimsical tales and well known characters come to life using masterful puppets built by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

"Construction Site" Two seasons, 26 episodes

Enter the world of "Construction Site," a special place beyond the fence where, through the antics and adventures of trucks and construction machines, children are exposed to important messages about the nature of learning, thinking and behaving.
