My Experience: I had the same problem with the four squares in the corners and no picture. Yes the problem is cheap chinese capacitors... 4 of them. If you know electronics you need 4 ea. 100uf 35V capacitors. You must find locations C280, C302, C320 and C323 on the board and replace the capacitors in those locations with new, quality ones. Don't try this if you don't have the right equipment but you can certainly tell your local TV technician that you know the fix and it might help hold your cost of repair down. This is a very nice unit when working except someone bought a bad batch of capacitors.
