My Experience: Very unhappy with this unit

Problems: 1 day after unpacking this unit, all the controls on the front of the TV don't function. I have to use the remote for everything. Additionally, the volume control now goes to maximum volume and cannot be turned down. It's like the volume "Up" key is stuck. The remote control is of very cheap quality. Finally, this unit is advertised to display 16x9 format, however, when I hook it up to my HD cable box, all HD programs have a black bar on the top and bottom of the display. It doesn't appear to be a true 16x9 format. I have a different HD TV and it works fine with this cable box, so I know it's not a configuration setting on the cable box. Don't buy these no name brands. Stick with the well-known manufacturers.
