My Experience: I had the set for just more than the 1 yr warranty when the sound started having static. After 18 months, the picture would disappear. Power off and back on and the picture returns, but only for 10 minutes or so. Repeat the process ad nauseum until you banish the set to the basement awaiting the next electronics recycling run. Dell offers no help if your warranty expires even though this is apparently a known issue. Sad.
