My Experience: Purchased in November/2005 for about $1800.00
The HD is Excellent and the regular programming is also pretty good.
Has true 1080i capability.

Problems: What I don't like is :
1.the menu,just not user friendly
2.when changing from a HD channel to a standard channel ,you always have to select "use high quality mode? "
It's like asking," do you want filet or sirloin...duh
This process requires pressing several buttons which after a while is annoying if your surfing.
