My Experience: The bulb has gone out 2x on the Hitachi 62vs69 . This is an email I received back from Hitachi "The reason you are reading about this problem on the internet is because the lamps are consumable items. They are meant to be replaced periodically. They are light bulbs, and will eventually burn out like any other"

Problems: After paying over $1400 for it...I do not see why I need to pay over $150 for "replacement" bulbs.
