My Experience: Picture is outstanding when compared to Samsung DLP I previously owned. Very good at black as compared to other DLP sets. Great contrast. I don't really care for the on screen menu setup of any of the three Mitsubishi TVs that I have owned. The "net-command" feature is very unimpressive and should be dropped from future models.

Problems: Did have a problem with the set at about 3 1/2 months. Had to go through the motions of replacing the DLP lamp even though I knew it wasn't the problem. Mitsubishi insists on replacing the lamp before any further troubleshooting can be done. The problem wasn't the lamp. I had to wait almost 6 weeks for the whole process of the lamp, and then the subsequent replacement of the entire main board chasis inside the TV. Their techinicians don't troubleshoot. They replace the lamp, and if that doesn't fix it...then they replace the entire TV insides. Haven't had any problems since, and that was about 6 months ago. Not impressed with the service/repair policy.
