My Experience: We had very little of use-- Only my son watches cartoon in the weekend for 2 hours total. So I would say we use the TV for max 300 hours/YEAR.

The lamp become bad after a little over one year (max 500 hours). It is another $229+TAX+SHIPPING.

Never buy TV from Mitsubishi again.

I will fix the tv with new lamp and sell it with a huge loss of money

Problems: Lamp is gone for a short time
