My Experience: In 2005 when this model was made, it was a good buy. I bought this unit in 2007 and didn't do my homework. There is a huge difference between this Rear Proj LCD 1080i and the 1080p as far as resolution. It reflects light quite a bit and doesn't do well in a bright room. Hard to make out images in dark scenes. I spent 2,800$ for this model in 2007, defintely not a good buy.

Problems: Bulb burnt out in 8 months...probably because the Electronics store sold me an old display model without my knowledge. Sound is rather hollow and "tinny". Very disappoining resolution for the money. One good thing....has a BIG screen!
