My Experience: I have been searching HDTVs all over for at least 4 months. Rating features and going back and forth with benefits/drawbacks. I finally came across this 62" LCD projection TV w/stand from costco and couldn't pass up the price.

Problems: When viewing programs when people are in the dark, such as Batman, LoTR's, Superman Returns, etc... the tv processes shadowed objects so dark that you can no longer distinquish detail. All the shades of gray turn into a block of gray. We watch Superman Returns on this and the whole chase scene when superman saves that lady in the runaway car could barely be seen. Half of his face was one block of gray and the other was a normal color. My recommendation is to buy a different model.
