My Experience: We purchased this tv 10 years ago, back in 2006. We've never had a problem and have only had to replace the lamp once, however.....(see problems)

Problems: Seems like I am not the only one that is having issues with the tv turning itself off and in looking at the 'codes', its because of 'excessive high voltage' - Code 21. If this is the case and it seems to be an ongoing issue with this particular model, Mitsubishi should cover the cost of having this issue fixed!!! They have given me 2 authorized dealers to fix my tv and both of them are closed businesses; we will not purchase another Mitsubishi television based on the issue that we've had, as well as the customer service and apparently no one knows how to fix the problem! This is not a cheap tv to purchase, as well as not going to be a cheap problem to fix, if and when we ever do find someone to fix it. As I stated Mitsubishi should cover the cost of this issue when all of these models have the SAME PROBLEM!
