My Experience: I have had this television for almost 2 years now and have been impressed from the beginning. I originally purchased a comparable Samsung, but atfer getting i home and hooking it up, I just wasn't impressed. I returned it for this Mitzubishi and am so glad that I made that decision. I previously owned a Mitzubisgi analog big screen and didn't have any issues for 10 years.I still have the original lamp on this new one (which most replace at around 18 months). I owe that to vigilant cleaning. I remove the lamp every 2 to 3 months and clean the dust screen to keep it from overheating. Also, I remove the back cover to the TV and blow the whole thing out (making sure that the air compressor doesn't have moisture in it). That is not recommended by the manufacturer but I believe that a TV that is free of dust is less likely to heat up.

Problems: Like most that have owned this TV, there was an issue with a faulty heat sensor. It was replaced at no cost to me.
