My Experience: Have been enjoying my NEC 50XR5 for a couple weeks now and am really impressed by the set. The picture quality is outstanding in HD, even more so than the current Panasonic's. Black levels are close though the Panny still has an edge there.

The build quality and bezel really stand out on this TV. Definitely some attention was paid to this detail. With the increased number of inputs, longer warranty and picture quality, NEC definitely has a winner on their hands.

Now just have to wait until CES to see for how long.
