My Experience: This TV is an excellent buy. IT does HD as beautifully as anything I've ever seen and progressive scan DVDs are near HD quality (assuming good bit rate encoding -a few of my DVDs that have extra features have very poor image quality- this TV exposes the lower quality DVDs.) SD TV scales perfectly and this set is a clear winner compared to almost any LCD at converting a 4:3 SD signal to 16:9 and SD is very watchable with great color. HD signals have virtually no motion blur or false contouring. The inputs are very easy to use and switch between using either the remote or the buttons on the right side of the set. Wii and PS2 games blow me away on this thing. Can't wait to get a PS3 or XBOX360 and see that! The burn in reduction measures are superb and I haven't seen any burn in even after playing video games with static images in areas of the screen for hours. There is a great tool built in that swipes the screen with a bright white bar just in case you see any burn in. I have run it a couple of times just for the fun of it but no burn in was present anyway. This TV produces almost no heat! After being on for hours on end if I hold my hand over the top it is barely even warm. My little LCD monitor puts out way more heat.

Problems: The remote is very basic but it gets the job done.
