My Experience: After having a 768p projector, this was our first flat screen purchase. SD is much better than we expected.. HD is very good. PQ is excellent overall, but internal non-detachable speakers only sound good up to mid-volume. Software/menus kinda stink.. too many steps to turn on CC, etc. The multi-function remote is not programmable and only works with other Philips components. Overall I like this set but it is going back, not because of PQ but because of the other things.. am using it in the bedroom so no AVR is planned, need better sound.
