My Experience: I bought the 47PFL3603D/27 LCD TV Feb 2009 and the picture started to go out after six months but the audio would remain. Philips said to upgrade the firmware. This fixed it for six months and now goes blank many times a day. I emailed them many times with no response. I call them however they pretend there are no known issues. Philips has washed their hands of the TV and is telling me I must pay a repair shop to fix. It will cost $500-$800 to fix! Philips made a defective product and will not admit it.
