My Experience: This HDTV is UNHOLY. Awesome imagery. Perfect Pixel 3HD + 120Hz + Natural Motion changes HD entirely. Hard to describe, other than to say that motion is completely smooth; no blurring, no noise...NOTHING. Go to an electronics store that carries this HDTV and compare to Sony and Samsung's 120Hz HDTVs. No contest. Philips wins on design, video quality, audio quality...EVERYTHING. 30W speakers in the HDTV are surprisingly great! Good volume, great surrond and there is a feature that allows you to optimize dialogue for clarity, so the background noise doesn't interfere (kind of like a center channel on a home theater system). The only thing that I thought was a bit long was the inital start-up; the TV goes through a process to "find" sources (Cable, SAT, etc.). It says that it takes up to 30 minutes...took mine 10-15 minutes. Seems a bit long. GET THE HDMI CABLE for this! Big difference. Cable box only 1080i, but the HDMI interface makes a world of difference. In the Set-Up, the TV shows you an image that is bisected by a line. You choose which side of the image you like better (color, sharpness, etc.). After selecting through 5 or 6 images, the TV recognizes your preferences and sets them to your PERSONAL setting. You also have SPORTS, GAME, MOVIE, NORMAL settings as well.

For any price, you will find no better TV on the market today. It just happens that this HDTV is lower cost than Sony (for some reason). Don't let the price fool you. Take a look in person and see for yourself. Puts other 120 Hz HDTV to shame.

BTW; this is my first Philips HDTV; had a 51" SONY before. I am not blowing this TV up because I have some odd Philips fetish. Just being honest. Those who have brand loyalty will jab me, but if you take brand name aside, and look at what this HDTV is, you will agree.

Problems: None.
