My Experience: I wanted very much to purchase the Magnavox 42" LCD. A sale price was advertised at Sears and Bi-Mart. When I went in to purchase they said the only one they had was a used on on display and it had been sold. I asked Sears for a rain check. They said they were not going to be ordering more. Sears offered a much cheaper set at same sales price. I told the manager, their ad was a classic "bait & switch." I had even gon into the store one day prior to the sale, and the salesman said the display model was the only one they had. He would not sell it to me on prior day, and it was gone next morning before I arrived. I asked for the name of the President of Sears. I probably will not get the president on the line, but expect someone at the VP level. This is very poor practice on the part of Sears. I have a 19" Magnavox LCD HD in my kitchen. The picture and colors are the most natural of any / all TV's that I have seen. That is why I wanted the Magnavox 42" LCD. However it looks like it is not going to happen.

Thanks for your time.

Problems: Stores advertise the Magnavox 42" LCD HD on television and in newspaper adds, but when one goes to the store to purchase at the advertised sale price, they do not have any in stock and indicate no intention to order any more. This is unfair advertisement. One unhappy customer.
